Join Mrs. Lawson for Improv Theater Camp!
Kids, do you love making your friends or family laugh? Or maybe you feel nervous when presenting in class. Come to Improv Camp! Here we will have fun, play silly games, laugh and just maybe, you will gain more confidence. Whether you are a seasoned actor or have never done any theater before, this camp is for you!
Parents, have you ever thought, I would love for my child to be more focused, a better listener, have more confidence, have an outlet for creative energy, be a better communicator, or work better on a team? Would you be surprised if you learned that Improv Theater can help with all these and more?
After over 10 years of taking classes and performing in Dallas and Los Angeles, Mrs. Rachel Lawson has seen young kids to business professionals in their 50’s and grandmothers in their 70’s experience immense personal growth and joy through Improv theater. In this week-long immersive course your child will work with a team of peers to learn the basic tenets of Improv, play classic team building games, and show off their new skills with a performance on Friday! This course is about having fun, working together, and getting silly! *Prior comedic skills not required!
There will be ample time to enjoy snack and recess on BCD's playground.
Please send your child with closed-toe shoes, a sun hat, water bottle, and preferably a peanut/nut-free snack.
