How long does it take to beat Thorium? ›

Are you bored with how easy the vanilla game is? Then you'll like Calamity. Thorium is a much more relaxed content expansion that focuses less on overhauling the progression experience and more on adding to it. If you like the way the vanilla game plays, you'll probably prefer Thorium.

Thorium + Calamity Convergence Mod converges the progression and reduces the redundancy that happens when both mods kinda do the exact same thing. There's new recipe trees, maybe sometimes new recipes entirely for items, and FINALLY no identical vertebrae > leather recipe gosh dang it.

In total, the Thorium Mod adds 6 new Pre-Hardmode bosses, 5 new Hardmode bosses, and 3 new mini-bosses.

Thorium is about as hard as soft steel, so when heated it can be rolled into sheets and pulled into wire. Thorium is nearly half as dense as uranium and plutonium and is harder than both.

A product of this, the Thorium Mod, is one of the most expansive mods for Terraria. With over 2600 new items, 11 challenging new boss fights, hordes of new enemies, an entirely new biome and even three new classes, you'll soon be unable to play Terraria without the Thorium Mod installed!

Calamity is a massive content mod for Terraria that takes the gameplay experience to a whole new level. There are a multitude of new enemies and bosses added throughout the game's progression, which means you are guaranteed to have hours of thrilling gameplay.

A Chain Gun with Rapid or Frenzying as a prefix will have a use time of 3, which is the fastest of any ranged weapon in the game. The S.D.M.G. does more damage yet fires slightly slower. The Chain Gun fires 3 more shots per second than the S.D.M.G.

The Rain Stone is a event-summoning item that is found in Depth Chests within the Aquatic Depths. It is used to start the Rain event and it can be used at any time, but at the cost of 20 mana. The rain will last 5 minutes on average. If used while there is already rain, it will stop the rain.

Does Thorium have post Moonlord content? ›

The Primordials are a post-Moon Lord boss and the final boss of the Thorium Mod. It consists of three separate bosses: Aquaius, the Endless Tide; Omnicide, the Life Defiler; and Slag Fury, the First Flame, with each having its own attack pattern and life count.

Worms and Bosses (except the King Slime) will not take any damage from contact with lava.

Thorium Ore is an ore which generates naturally upon world creation in the Cavern layer, becoming increasingly common further down in the world. It can also be found in Strange Crates and Scarlet Crates. Its associated bar can be made into a variety of useful early game tools and weapons.
