Agree that Users prefer integrated service (less passwords to deal with, single UX to multiple services) but GDPR is a challenge. Musk will need his own X-Phone to pull this off, watch this space 🚀🚀🚀

Do you remember that 20+ years ago, Elon Musk had a company, a payment company called ... yes, X.com ?It then merged with another payment firm (Confinity), Musk was asked to leave by the board and the company became.. PayPal According to Nicholas Thompson, Musk doesn't want to just change the name from Twitter to X and he's not interested in just incrementally changing the product. Instead, he may want to combine Twitter's existing assets and popularity with his own assets (e.g. AI among others) to build a community with all kinds of services like payment, banking, social media, e-commerce etc.. Something bigger anyway. Much bigger. Like a WeChat for example - as complicated as it may be. Which, when you think about it, wouldn't be totally unrealistic. Otherwise, what would be the interest of simply renaming Twitter to just continue doing more of the same thing... ? Thoughts ? #payment #twitter #elonmusk #socialmedia#ai

Absolutely fascinating to understand the history behind this major move by Elon Musk! Connecting the dots from 1999 to now is quite the journey. While it's a bummer to see the old name go, let's see what he has in store with X.com. #GoodByeTwitter #Twitter #TwitterMarketing #DigitalMarketing #Rebranding #X

Exactly 1 week ago Twitter CEO Elon Musk announced that Twitter will now be imposing daily limits on users. 4 days later Meta launched Threads its Twitter look-alike app. So far over 80 million people have reportedly signup on Threads making it the fastest downloaded app ever. But what does this mean for Twitter's future? Will Twitter retain its audience and eventually crack the code to monetization?Or will Threads replace Twitter for good? Now that X.com officially redirects to #Twitter and the blue bird will be ditched, is this Elon’s attempt to turn twitter into an ‘Everything App? If this attempt is successful, I can see the emerge of something similar to #WeChat … WeChat is extremely successful in China and is the go-to app for almost EVERYTHING! A similar app for the rest of the world could really fill in the gap and eliminate the number of different apps used to accomplish different things such as; Social connectivity, news, money transfers, ride sharing/taxi’s, food delivery, bills & utilities, finance & investments, reservations (movie theatres, restaurants, hotels) and so on… And I believe the infrastructure is mostly there! I hope that’s the case and that customer experience is at the center of it all! One-click-purchases and efficient

If you’re an avid Twitter fan you may have recently seen that Elon Musk has rebranded the platform to ‘X’ but much like many of us you're probably wondering what does this mean for the platform? For now the rebrand of Twitter just seems to be a name change, but according to CBS News in America “Musk has been vocal about his goal of turning Twitter into a so-called super-app, something akin to China’s WeChat. For now there's no American equivalent to such an app, but industry experts imagine an app that encompasses basically anything a person wants to do online.”What’s your opinion? Will ‘X’ take off? * https://lnkd.in/e6cvE7bd...#twitterx #twittermarketing #twitterrebrand #elonmusktwitter #elonmusknews #socialmediamarketing #marketingcampaigns #businessdevelopment #newidentity #twitternews #logodesign #logotrends
