I have been going to Poplarville since I was in kindergarten. I have had my fair share of good and bad experiences in the district. Overall Poplarville School District is a good and provides students with opportunities. In my high school years I have had a wonderful experience with both Coach Ray (Principal) and Coach Teal (Assistant Principal). If I ever had any problems they were always there and ready to help. I’ve been apart of the journalism class for the past two years and this year we started a school newspaper, The Buzz, and it has really brought the school together. We are already such a tight knit community that it seemed impossible to get any tighter. The newspaper not only brought students together it also brought students, teachers, and administration closer. This has made this year very memorable and even though I won’t see the benefits the newspaper will have in the future I am just glad I got to be apart of something that can make school a better place.

Unlike other peers I viewed my school as an opportunity. I saw chances that not many other people had and I took every chance to make the best life for me. I have a very kind and loving school. Minus my negative peers Poplarville has heart, it wants everyone to achieve and make something out of their lives. I love my school and I desire to give back to them one day. I want to better the school for everything they have done for me. I want to give back to my town for they have also done amazing things for me and I will forever be grateful. Poplarville is different, no matter how mean or kind someone is they want the best for anyone and everyone.

Poplarville School District is an excellent district that promotes academic success for all students. The staff and administration are like one big family, working together for the goals. There are lots of incentives to get students excited and motivated. The whole school comes together as a team, and the district is able to achieve great things. School spirit can be encountered at any event the school has to offer. The facilities are constantly improving, but the amenities are overall average. The teachers treat their students as their own children, and they go above and beyond to help their students.
