In January, Murray’s rep confirmed to Us that he and Roemer had gotten secretly married and were expecting a child. Their son was born that May.

The happy couple became parents for the second time, welcoming their daughter in May.

During a June interview on Radio Andy, Murray’s ex-wife, Bush, commented on their short-lived matrimony.

“It was not a thing I actually really wanted to do, but you know, it’s cool,” the John Tucker Must Die actress said at the time. When asked why she went through with the wedding, Bush replied, “Because how do you let everybody down, and how do you — what’s the fight? And when you have bosses telling you that you’re the only person who gets a person to work on time, and 200 people either get to see their kids at night or they don’t because our days start on time.”

The duo celebrated Murray’s 38th birthday in Turks and Caicos. “Happy Turks birthday husbando!” the Asylum actress captioned an Instagram photo of her and the Riverdale alum on the beach. “I made him change out of his banana hammock. For my eyes only,” she joked.

The Freaky Friday actor wished his wife a happy 36th birthday via Instagram. “Since the day we decided down our journey together, my life has been richer, sweeter and better in every way because of you,” he wrote alongside a picture of the California native holding their son.

In September, the Event actress shared a snap of her and her husband on a trip to Canada. “Love in Ottawa,” she captioned the sweet selfie.

Murray shared a touching Mother’s Day tribute to his wife via Instagram. “For me, growing up with a single father most of my life, I never truly knew the importance of a mother until I had the honor of watching you carry this family on your back from that moment our son was born,” he captioned a selfie of him and Roehmer kissing.

Murray announced on July 7 that Roemer is pregnant with their third baby, uploading a photo of her growing belly via his Instagram.

The duo welcomed baby No. 3 in August. “Our baby girl arrived last week with a heart on her ankle. We are so in love,” Roemer wrote via Instagram one week later on August 19, sharing the first photo of the newborn. “Soaking up all the baby squishy moments that go by all too fast.”
